The Kuh-e Bandaka is one of the highest mountains of the Hindu Kush in the north- east of Afghanistan. It is the highest mountain which lies entirely within Afghanistan. His first ascent was on 22 September 1960 Wolfgang von Hanse man, Dietrich Hasse, Siegbert Heine and John Winkler.
