Kuhgrat

Summit cross on the Kuegrat

The Kuegrat is a 2,123 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Principality of Liechtenstein. The highest peak in the Three Sisters chain, which is located in the extreme northwest of the Rätikon, a mountain range of the Western Central Alps.

Location

On the border of Liechtenstein Schaan communities and planks on the western edge of the Planken Garselli. Southwest of the Garsellikopf 2105 m and 1983 m northeast of the Gafleispitze. The summit cross was erected in 1983 by the rovers from Schaan.

The summit can be reached without any particular difficulty in hiking and mountain trails. Exceeding the Three Sisters chain gives the Kuegratgipfel most visitors.

  • Of Gaflei via Alp Bargälla, Chemmi, Gafleisattel and Gafleispitze
  • Of planks to Gafadurahütte and further via Three Sisters rising over the Three Sisters and the Garsellikopf
  • (rarely done ) of Schaan via Alpila Hut
