Kühne Logistics University

The Kühne Logistics University - Graduate School of Logistics and Management (THE KLU) is a nationally recognized private university based in Hamburg. Bearer of the university is the Kühne Logistics University GmbH, whose sole shareholder is the non-profit Kuehne Foundation, which has its headquarters in Schindellegistrasse in Switzerland. The non-profit foundation promotes a first priority the education and training, science and research in transport economics and logistics.

The KLU consists of two faculties, the " Department of Logistics" and the "Department of Management & Economics". With currently 15 professors, the university research areas of logistics, management and corporate governance maps. The working language is English. History

2003 saw the establishment of the HSL Hamburg School of Logistics in the form of a public- private partnership between the Technical University of Hamburg - Harburg ( TUHH) and based in Schindellegistrasse in Switzerland Kuehne Foundation. 2004 began the MBA - Full-time. 2005 was accredited by the full-time MBA program by ASIIN. 2006 was another MBA - Part-time recorded. 2006: Beginning of a First Summer School - Part-time.

October 1, 2007 the company was renamed and extension to the Kühne School of Logistics and Management at the TUHH as a business school of the Technical University of Hamburg - Harburg ( TUHH). The focus in research, teaching and training was the area of ​​logistics and its management, as the implementation and management of transport logistics. With the Neufirmierung the Kühne School of Logistics and Management of the construction of two master's degrees and a research center began. 2007 began the campus of the TUHH a Master's program International Business and Engineering - full-time. In the year 2008, an accreditation of the part-time MBA program by ASIIN. 2008 followed by a Master's degree in Logistics, Infrastructure and Mobility - full time. Pay

In 2013, studied 121 people at the KLU. When completed, it should be 400. The fee for the 2- year Master study amount to 15,000 euros ( cohort 2012) and 18,000 euros ( cohort 2013).

Erasmus

In July 2012, the KLU was awarded the Erasmus University Charter. Partnership Agreement between European universities are facilitated by this program of the European Union, students can get for stays abroad (language courses, semester abroad and internships ) EU funding and the European mobility of teachers and university staff is supported.
