Kum Nye

The Tibetan Healing Yoga Kum Nye (pronounced Kum Nje ) is a product from Tibet exercise system for relaxation, stimulation of the psycho - physical energies and solving blockages in the energy system. It has its roots on the one hand in the Tibetan yoga system of Nying thig - tsa -ment (yoga of the subtle energies), the other in the medical tradition of Tibet. Kum Nye is not to be confused with the practice of the Five Tibetans.

Kum Nye was introduced by the living in the USA since 1969 Tibetan Lama Tulku Rinpoche Tarthang in the West. Kum Nye consists of quiet sitting (meditation) with focus on the naturally flowing breath, very slowly and deliberately executed movements, self-massage with pressure points as well as the recitation of mantras to stimulate energies of mind and body and gently dissolve blockages. All exercises are technically very simple and require no special skills or knowledge.
