The Kuma (Japanese球磨 川, -gawa ) is a river in Kumamoto Prefecture on the island of Kyūshū in Japan.
It is 115 km long and has a catchment area of 1880 km ². Its average discharge at the mouth is 103.98 m³ / s He is, together with the Mogami and the Fuji one of the three fastest rivers in Japan.
