Yatsushiro, Kumamoto
Yatsushiro (Japanese八 代 市, - shi) is a Japanese city in Kumamoto Prefecture on the island of Kyushu on the coast to the East China Sea.
Geography
Yatsushiro Kumamoto is located south of and north of Kagoshima. The settlement focuses on the Yatsushiro - level (八 代 平野, Yatsushiro - heiya ), while the hinterland is mountainous on the coast of the Yatsushiro Sea.
History
The city was founded on 1 September 1940.
