Kungsträdgården metro station

Kungsträdgården is an underground station of the Stockholm Metro, which is below the square of the same name. It is located in the Norrmalm neighborhood. The station is the southern terminus of the Blå linjen the Stockholm subway system. It belongs to the rather moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day rise 7,000 commuters here.

The station was taken on October 30, 1977 as the 91 metro station in operation, as the Blå linjen T-Centralen was extended to Kungsträdgården. The station was built in an open design, the platforms are located approximately 34 meters below the ground. The next stop is T -Centralen. Stockholm Central Station is about one km.
