Kuno Gonschior

Kuno Gonschior ( born September 10, 1935 in Wanne- Eickel, † March 16, 2010 in Bochum, Germany ) was a German painter and university professor; he is one of the representatives of Concrete Art.

Life

Gonschior studied from 1957 to 1961 at the Dusseldorf Art Academy under Karl Otto Götz and made subsequent to 1963 a teacher training at the University of Cologne. This was followed by teaching at the Theodor- Körner- School and the Albert Einstein School of Bochum. 1972 Gonschior was appointed as a teacher at the Department of Art and Teaching of Pedagogical University of Münster. From 1982 to 2000 he took a professorship for free painting at the Academy of Arts in Berlin.

Work
