The Kunz Bach is a river in Baden- Württemberg. He is a part of the former spring brook. This loop, which otherwise age spring creek is, was cut in the early 20th century. The Kunz creek is about 6 km long, short, spring creek is about 2 km long. The Kunz stream runs north Durmersheimer a commercial area and puts on the district Durmerheim / Au along. Then the Kunz stream flows near Rheinstetten / Mörsch again in the spring brook. The area through which the stream flows Kunz, also called spring creek valley, suggesting that the Kunz Bach was once a part of the spring brook.
The Kunz creek is about 2 m wide and 60-80 cm deep. It can also dry out completely in summer. In July 2004, a new trench was south of the Kunz Bach created ( Kunz Bach -south), which will always drain the development area deep shores III in Durmersheim.
Vegetation
On Kunz Bach is a small, about 2.5 km ² nature reserve, which is partially covered by a mixed deciduous forest. This is along the creek Kunz mainly of poplars, further inside the loop also made of birch or other trees. The forest is called by the locals Kunz forest, but this is not officially correct.
