Kurama is a platoide language within the subgroup of Benue - Congo languages , which in turn are the largest language group of the Niger -Congo language family.
The language is natively spoken exclusively in Nigeria, with more than 40,000 speakers (estimate of 2000). Kurama - speakers are mainly in the north central states of Nigeria, including Kaduna and Kano to meet.
