Kurbat Ivanov

Kurbat Afanassjevitch Ivanov († 1666), Russian Курбат Афанасьевич Иванов, Tobolsk was a Cossack explorer and cartographer. He discovered in 1643 with his Cossack troop of Lake Baikal and the first charted the Lena Shore, Lake Baikal and the coast of the Okhotsk Sea.
