Kurenai

Kurenai (Japanese红) is the name of a Japanese light novel series by Kentaro Katayama, illustrated by Yamato Yamamoto. The first edition of the series first appeared in 2005 and continues to this day. It's about the boy Shinkuro Kurenai, who has to watch as body guard to the young but spoiled girl Murasaki Kuhōin. Based on the novel template created adaptations in the form of a manga and an anime television series, which were published in 2007 and 2008.

Action

The sixteen -year-old boy Shinkuro Kurenai specializes to end the disputes between individuals for its clients. He often risked his life to him from the Contracting Authority Benika Jūzawa gets a special task one day. He should take care of the daughter of the powerful and the plutocratic family Kuhōin that was previously exempt from Benika from their place of residence. The foresight Benika represents their close associate Yayoi Inuzuka from outside the door of Shinkuro where they guarded day and night for the apartment without the knowledge of Shinkuro.

The seven -year-old Kuhōin Murasaki, the daughter of soju and Renjo Kuhōin should move in with him to not be found by her family. But it is very spoiled and conceited so she gets another first with Shinkuro because of his run-down apartment again and again. But soon she is able to accept their new situation and gaining confidence to Shinkuro. She learns the student Tamaki Muto and usually dressed in black woman yamie know.

She's secretly in love with him and provided him with information on his orders, that he shall comply during its mission as watchdogs. At the very moment in which to understand the roommate of the house and the friends of Shinkuro so far that they together have a party, Murasaki Kuhōin is kidnapped by the staff of Renjo Kuhōin. Murasaki's mother was raped by him and brought Murasaki as a child out of wedlock. Since no one outside the family should learn from this child, he locked soju and Murasaki, separated from each other. This condition is no longer being able to bear, the mother of Murasaki took his own life.

Now again caught in the clutches of her father, her friends try to free them from this situation in which they feel gradually more and more love for Shinkuro.

Since December 2005, the Light Novel series is published by the author Kentaro Katayama with illustrations by Yamato Yamamoto by the Japanese publisher Shueisha. So far, four books of unfinished series have appeared in greatly varying distance of about one year.

Manga

From 2 November 2007 to 4 June 2012, published in Jump Square adaptation appeared as a manga series. This is drawn by Yamato Yamamoto, the illustrator of the light novel. In summary, the chapter in the form of ten anthologies ( tankōbon ) were issued.

Since October 2010, Tokyopop released the manga in German. Previously published nine volumes.

Anime

In 2008, the studio Brain's Base produced an anime television series for the Light Novel. The characters of the series are based on the template, but were revised in appearance from Kumi Ishii again. Director of the comprehensive twelve episodes series led Kō Matsuo. The artistic director has held Kazuhiro Arai. In Japan, the series of 3 April 2008 to 19 June 2008 to the transmitters Chiba TV and TV Kanagawa was shown later followed by other broadcasting stations.

The limited edition version of the fifth (2 July 2010) and sixth Manga strip (3 December 2010) was ever a DVD enclosed with a total of two additional half-hour episodes.

Music

The music of the series was composed by Ken Muramatsu. The header title is Love Jump Minami Kuribayashi, as the credits songs used to Crossing Day and Te no Hira no Taiyo (手のひら の 太陽) by Ryoko Shintani.
