Kurt Schulz (cinematographer)

Alan Jones ( born February 14, 1912 in Berlin, † June 28, 1957 ) was a German cinematographer.

Schulz worked as a trainee in 1926 and subsequently worked as a projectionist in a Berlin lab. In 1932 he became camera assistant to Eduard Hoesch and Werner bean, beside still photographer. In 1938, he acted as co - camera man next bean in Hotel Sacher, from 1942 he served as director of photography.

After the war he founded in 1948 with Kurt Ulrich a joint film production company, " Berolinahaus ". Schulz left the management of the company largely Ulrich and was limited as a producer on a few short documentaries in which he himself directed. As a cameraman he wrote film history with its two home movie classics Schwarzwaldmädel and Green is the Heath, which were also the first West German postwar color films.
