Kurt Wünsche

Kurt wishes ( born December 14, 1929 in Obernigk, Silesia ) is a former German politician ( Liberal Democratic Party ). He was Minister of Justice of the GDR.

Life

The son of a chemist graduated from the elementary and high school in Dresden. He joined in 1946 the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany and in the FDJ and was until 1951 the official LDPD District Association Dresden and the state association of Saxony. From 1951 to 1954 he was head of department for the organization of the Central Committee of the Liberal Democratic Party. In connection with the events of 17 June 1953 he was suspected as an agent and detained temporarily by the Ministry for State Security ( Stasi). From 1954 he was a member of the Central Committee (ZV ), the Political Affairs Committee and secretary of the ZV, 1960-1965 Deputy Secretary General and since 1967 Vice-Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party.

1954 to 1959, he completed a correspondence course and was founded in 1964 at the German Academy of Law and Political Science " Walter Ulbricht " in Potsdam for a co-authored with Manfred Gerlach work on " function and development of the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany in the multi-party system of the German Democratic Republic " Dr. jur. doctorate. From 1954 to 1972 he was a member of the People's Chamber, first as a member of the Youth Committee, then as a member of the Judiciary Committee and finally as a member of the Legal Committee. He was the successor of Max Suhr beer Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and since 1967 as the successor of Hilde Benjamin Minister of Justice since 1965. Because of conflicts on issues of the legal system and the nationalization of private and semi- state companies, he joined in 1972 as Minister back. Wishes in 1958, 1965, 1979 and 1989 with the Patriotic Order of Merit and in 1969 awarded the Banner of Labor.
