Kusasi people

The Kusaal are a people in Ghana, Togo and Burkina Faso, which is also called Kusale, Koussassé or Kusasi.

Living in Ghana 420000-437000 Kusaal with the settlement area in the Bawku District in the northeast of the country. In Togo, a population of about 11,000 Kusaal, in Burkina Faso approximately 21,000. The Kusaal in Burkina Faso live predominantly in the provinces Nahouri and Boulgou in some villages south of Zabre in the central south of the country.

They speak Kusaal as their mother tongue.
