Kuy language

Kuy (also Soui, Kuay; Khmer: ភាសា គួយ, Thai: ภาษา กุย ) is one of the Katu languages ​​belonging to the Austro- Asiatic languages.

Kuy is one of the major languages ​​of the Mon-Khmer language family. It is spoken in

• Thailand ( northeast, Isan, about 300,000 speakers)
• Laos ( provinces Salavan, Savannakhet and Sekong, about 64,000 speakers)
• Cambodia ( northeastern provinces of Preah Vihear, Stung Treng and Kampong Thom, about 15,000 speakers)
