KV29

KV29 Tomb of Unknown

The ancient Egyptian tomb KV29 in the Valley of the Kings ( East Valley ) was discovered in 1832. The grave owner is unknown and there are no details on the contents of the tomb. It consists of a simple rectangular input shaft and is dated to the period of the New Kingdom. The grave is inaccessible today.

KV29 was discovered before 1832, but no excavations in the grave system have been carried out. Maps were created in 1825 by James Burton, in the years 1825 to 1828 by John Gardner Wilkinson and 1899 by Victor Loret. Arthur Weigall described the grave as undecorated, but that it probably has only one chamber. There are no publications to grave.
