Kvĕta Pacovská

Kveta Pacovská ( born July 28, 1928 in Prague ) is a Czech artist and children's book illustrator.

Life

Kveta Pacovská studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague under Emil Filla. She draws and paints, they created collages and paper objects ( concept art ). In 1992 Pacovská the Hans Christian Andersen Award, the highest and most prestigious international award for children's book authors and illustrators.

In the years 1992 and 1993 she worked as a visiting professor at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin.
