Gikyode is the language of Gikyode ethnic group and is spoken by only 10,400 (2003) speakers in Ghana at the border with Togo in remote villages 9.

Alternative names are Kyode and Chode. Gikoyode has a 75 % agreement with Ginyanga in Togo.
