L'International des Feux Loto-Québec

L'International des Feux Loto -Québec, and Montreal Fireworks Festival called, is a large international fireworks competition; at the beginning it was called Le Mondial SAQ, and l' International Benson & Hedges. He finds each year since 1985 at the amusement park La Ronde in Montreal and is named after the main sponsor Loto -Québec. Estimated three million people follow this event every year.

Every summer showcase eight or nine pyrotechnic companies from different nations each a 30-minute music synchronized fireworks. For the 20th anniversary in 2004 occurred in June and July, the eight previous Jupiter -gold winner in the battle for the ( unique ) platinum trophy to Jupiter. It won the German company WECO fireworks.

The competition, which is usually in late June and ends in late July, is structured so that every seven days, each team presents a fireworks show. The fireworks are synchronized to music from a radio station (2005 RockDétente, since 2006 Rythme FM) is broadcast. Spectators in La Ronde must pay admission.
