La Baume- de-Transit is a commune with 841 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Drôme in the Rhône -Alpes.

Geography

La Baume- de - Transit is located on the border of the Drôme Provençale the Vaucluse region, 23 kilometers northeast of Orange and eleven kilometers southwest of Valréas. The Lez river flows through the municipal area. History
