La Coupole

La Coupole ( to German V 2 Raktenabschußbasis Schotterwerk West, English: The Dome) is a bunker in the Pas -de- Calais region in northern France.

Due to his appearance, he is known as a dome of Helfaut - Wizernes. The German planners designated the missile base construction project initially as 21 Later, the bunker was given the code name Schotterwerk northwest. The plant was built during World War II in the years 1943 and 1944 in the region of Pas -de- Calais in northern France, about five kilometers from Saint -Omer.
