La Motte-Picquet – Grenelle (Paris Métro)

La Motte- Picquet - Grenelle is a station of the Paris Métro. It is located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. The station is served by the metro line 10. The stations on Line 8 and 10 are below the Avenue La Motte Picquet, the aboveground station line 6 above the Boulevard de Grenelle.

The station was put into operation on 24 April 1906, when the then section of Line 2 (now line 6) from Passy to Place d'Italie was opened. On October 14, 1907, the route of the line 2 was modified, so that since then the line 5 stops at the station. On 13 July 1913, the western extension of line 8 was put into operation. This was then extended from Porte d' Auteuil to Charles Michels. On July 27, 1937, the section of Line 8 was assigned between the station and the Porte d' Auteuil line 10 so that it stops at the station since then.
