La Nouvelle-Beauce Regional County Municipality

La Nouvelle- Beauce is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.

It is located in the Chaudière - Appalaches administrative region and consists of eleven subordinate administrative units (a city, six municipalities and four Sprengel ). The MRC in the Beauce region, was established on 1 January 1982. The main town is Sainte -Marie. The population is 33,748 and the area 904.7 km ², representing a population density of 37.3 inhabitants per km ².
