Bellechasse Regional County Municipality
Bellechasse is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the Chaudière - Appalaches administrative region and consists of 20 subordinate administrative units ( 13 municipalities and seven Sprengel ). The MRC was established on 1 January 1982. The capital is Saint- Lazare -de- Bellechasse. Its population is 34 429 and the surface 1753.7 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 19.6 inhabitants per km ².
