La Thuile (Savoie)

La Thuile is a town in the French department of Savoie in the Rhone -Alpes.

Geography

La Thuile is situated at 874 m above sea level, 11 km east-southeast of the town of Chambery (air line). The farming village extends to the west of the department of Savoie, on the south of the massif of the Wallows, in a basin at the Lac de la Thuile, at the southern foot of the Pic de la mammals.

The area of ​​18:26 km ² municipal area includes a portion of the massif of the Wallows. Population
