La Unión (Spanish, The Association ') is a Chilean town in the XIV Región de Los Ríos and the capital of one of its two provinces, the provincial Ranco. It is located 40 km north of the city of Osorno and 80km south east of the regional capital Valdivia. History

La Unión was founded during the reign of Bernardo O'Higgins.
