Łabiszyn

Łabiszyn ( German Labischin 1940-1945: Lüderitz) is a city and seat of the urban and rural community in Poland. The place is located in the powiat Żniński the Kujawsko - Pomerania.

History

The first mention of today's Łabiszyn dates from the year 1247 as a and is held by a knight good. Municipal law was the place in the year 1369th

In the former Prussian province of Posen, the then city Labischin was until 1919 the administrative district of Bromberg, circle Shubin.

1919, the town was part of the revived Poland and heard from the Province Posen. In September 1939, the town was occupied by the German Wehrmacht. After the Second World War the city in 1945 was again part of Poland.
