Ladins Dolomites

Ladin Dolomites (LD) is the name of a small Italian party in South Tyrol.

Career

Its origins stem from the movement founded in 1993 Laden, which was an attempt to establish a collective party for the Ladin minority. Already in its founding year, the movement with Carlo Willeit could win a seat in the South Tyrolean Landtag. In the following years she was also at the local level have been successful. Later the movement was renamed Moviment Politich Laden.

At the regional elections of 1998 Willeit ran on a joint list with the Democratic Party of South Tyrol and was able to win a mandate again. 2003, however, the Laden failed with a vote share of only 1.4 %.

2004 the movement organized new and transformed into a party. In 2008, the party received its present name. 2013 formed the Ladin Dolomites an alliance with the parties, civil union and we Tyrol. For this alliance the deputy Andreas Pöder was chosen ( Civil Union) in the state legislature.
