Lahij Governorate

Lahidsch (Arabic لحج, DMG Laḥiǧ ) is one of the 20 governorates of Yemen. It is located in the southwest of the country.

Lahidsch has an area of ​​15,210 km ² and about 865 791 inhabitants. This gives a population density of 56.9 inhabitants per km ².
