Lajos Szűcs (footballer born 1973)

Lajos Szűcs ( born August 8, 1973 in Hungary) is a Hungarian football goalkeeper.

Sports career

Szűcs began his career as a professional football player in Újpest Budapest. As a regular player in the Nemzeti National Championship was one of the guarantees that his club starred in the front league area and regularly qualified for the European Cup. During the winter break of the season 1997/98 he accepted an offer of the German club 1.FC Kaiserslautern, who had risen in the previous summer in the Bundesliga. When the Palatinate first division he should as a replacement for the injured Petr Kouba long-term dropouts, who was also banned for doping fight with Andreas Reinke around the trunk space between the posts.
