Lake Gusinoye

The Gussinojesee (Russian Гусиное озеро; Buryat Галуута нуур, Galuuta nuur, " Gänsesee ") is a 164.7 square kilometers and up to 28 meters deep freshwater lake in Buryatia, Russia, about 120 km from Ulan- Ude away near the border with Mongolia.

At its northeastern shore lies the city of Gussinoosjorsk, at the opposite end of the south-west is a Buddhist monastery, founded in 1741 investment, the Tamtschinski - Dazan.
