Lake Kundi

The Kundi Lake, also called Lake Kundi, is located south of the Sudanese town of Nyala in Darfur State Dschanub.

The lake is fed by the Wadi Ibra.

In drought periods, the lake is reduced from 20 km ² to an area of ​​1-2 square kilometers.

The sea flora includes, among others, water lilies, Rough Hornwort ( Ceratophyllum demersum ) and the Naiad Najas pectinata.
