Łąkówko

Łąkówko ( German Lankow b. Bad Polzin ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the gmina Połczyn Zdrój (Bad Polzin ) in a circle Świdwin ( Schivelbein ).

Geography

Łąkówko located 13 kilometers north of Połczyn Zdrój and is across the province road No. 163 Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg) - Wałcz ( German crown) on the branch Bolkowo ( Bolkow ) to reach. The nearest train stations are: Rabino ( United Rambin ) Polish State Railways (PKP ) Line No. 202 Stargard ( Stargard ( Pomerania ) ) - Gdansk (Danzig) or Połczyn Zdrój ( PKP lines No. 421 Połczyn Zdrój - Świdwin ( Schivelbein ) ) and No. 430 Kostrzyn nad Odra ( Kuestrin ) - Grzmiąca ( Gramenz ).

History

Lankow was an old feudal family from Wolde, it has until 1867 been passed down from father to son. The Gutsbezirk Lankow was combined with the Gutsbezirk Lasbeck to the municipality Lasbeck. Even today, there are traditional links between the two places in the current Gmina Połczyn Zdrój. By 1945 Lankow belonged to the district of Belgard ( Persante ) and is now in the newly formed powiat Świdwiński.

Ecclesiastical Lankow belonged until 1945 to the parish Woldisch Tychow (Polish: Tychówko ) Church in Belgard county in Pomerania church of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union.

Today Łąkówko belongs to the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.
