The Lakselva ( Northern Sami: Leavdnjajohka, kvensk: Lemmijoki; German translation: "Salmon River " ) is a river in the municipality Porsanger in Finnmark (Northern Norway). It has its origins in the region north of Karasjok, flows north and empties just north of Lakselv in the Porsangerfjord. The river is 103.1 km long, has a catchment area of 1539.04 km ² and an average discharge rate of 26.93 m³ / s
The river is known for its salmon, sea trout and grayling.
