Lambretta (Band)

Lambretta was a Swedish rock band.

Career

At the foundation Linda Sundblad is initially not in the band, they will only be added later. In 1999, the group with the song Blow My Fuses from their debut album Breakfast in Sweden is known. Europe hearing them gives the song Bimbo (2002), and later Kill Me ( 2004). In 2005, singer Linda strives for a solo career, leading to the resolution of Lambretta; Another reason to have been the allegedly poor relationship with the management of the band.

On 20 September 2006 Linda Sundblad released their debut single, Oh Father, going into Sweden at number one of the singles charts. The subsequent album Oh My God appears in the November 2006 and reaches number 11 of the Swedish album charts. The musical style of the Lambretta but not much common Linda Sundblad now makes pop music. The remaining band members form the band Psych Onation who prefer an even harder musical style than last Lambretta. The debut album Symphony of Death with new front woman Vilaivon Hagman and new guitarist Jonas Sjöholm was released in June 2006.

In the fall of 2010, the successor band Psych Onation was dissolved and Petter Lantz, founded with former Lambretta guitarist Klas Edmundsson the industrial rock band Maniquin.

2012 was their song Bimbo, was covered by the British metal supergroup Tainted nation as a "loser ".

Style

The early works of Lambretta attributable to the pop and rock. The second album ( Lambretta ) goes mainly through the rock and already makes bonds the metal. This trend increases in the third and last album yet, so the songs The Fight and Kill Me for example, are hardly comparable with the older songs.
