Lámud District

Lamud is one of the 23 districts that make up the Peru province of Luya in the region of the Amazon.

Lamud is located in the high Andes.

Also located in the province Lamud administration of the province Luya.

The village festival in the district capital Lamud is celebrated on September 14. It is celebrated the " Señor de Gualamita ", which is revered by the local population.

In the north, the district borders Lamud to the district of San Cristobal, in the northeast to the district Valera, in the southeast with the district and the district Huancas Luya and on the southwest by the district Trita.
