Lanalhue Lake

The Lago Lanalhue ( Mapudungun: ḻaṉallwe - "place of chastened souls ", German: Lanalhue Lake) is a lake in Chile.

It lies between the cities of Cañete and Contulmo in the province of Arauco, Región del Bío -Bío on the western slope of the Cordillera de Nahuelbuta. He is well known for its warm water and the presence of the black-necked swan.

Location

The lake is 145 km away Concepcíon south of Tres Pinos at the National Route CH -160 at a height of 8 meters above the sea level.
