Country doctor Dr. Brock was a first shot in black and white and later in color television series with 26 episodes of 25 minutes under the direction of Ralph Lothar from the years 1967 to 1969, who played in a country medical practice in the Lüneburg Heath.
The film was shot in and around Bendestorf in the Lüneburg Heath, about 30 km south of Hamburg.
The screenplay was written by Rolf Schulz.
Story
As a former chief physician of a hospital Dr. Brock has taken on a community clinic in Wingenfeld for personal reasons. The initial mistrust of the population against the new Doctor disappears, because the doctor is happy to provide advice and assistance beyond medical emergencies. He can count on the feisty Helen, who takes care of his household and otherwise is always there for him. Dr. Erika Wallner is the pharmacist who regularly works with the doctor and befriends closer.
Besides Rudolf Prack in the lead role of the country doctor Dr. Brock Erna Sellmer played his assistant and housekeeper Helene, who always had everything under control. The pharmacist Dr. Erika Wallner played Gardy Granass.
