Langzhong

The independent city Langzhong (阆中市, Langzhong Shì ) belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city in the northeast of Nanchong, southwest China's Sichuan Province. It has an area of ​​1,877 square kilometers and has about 860,000 inhabitants ( 2004).

Located in the city area Ancestral Temple of Zhang Fei (张 桓侯 祠, Zhang Huánhóu cí ), the Yong'an Temple of Langzhong (阆中 永安 寺, Langzhong Yǒng'ān sì ) and the Wenchang Pavilion of Wulong Temple (五 龙庙 文昌 阁, Wǔlóng Miao Wenchang gé ) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.
