The Lannertbach at Bokel
The Lannertbach is an orographic right tributaries of the mine creek in North Rhine -Westphalia, Germany. It has a length of 4.8 km.
River course
The Lannertbach rises in the field Mark southwest of the settlement area of Rietberg and drains in a northwesterly direction. First, the water passes through the Ahnhorster Mersch and then executes east on Rietberger district Bokel over. North of Bokel forms of Bach to around 700 meters in length, the boundary between the Rietberg Rheda- Wiedenbrück and finally empties into the pit on the right side stream which is referred to in this section as Bokel- Mastholter main channel.
Characteristics
When Lannertbach is a typical lowland stream of Emssandebene with a low average bed slope of 0.6 ‰ and a correspondingly lower flow rate. The creek crosses almost exclusively dominantly agricultural land and is used as Meliorationsgewässer, which gives it in some portions of its flow path a grave -like character.
Not to be confused is the body of water with the at Westerwiehe also running on Rietberger district " Lannertbach ", which is, however, of an oxbow lake of the Furlbaches.
