Lanosterol synthase

The lanosterol synthase, the enzyme that catalyzes the cyclization of squalene epoxide in eukaryotes to lanosterol. This reaction is part of the biosynthesis of cholesterol in animals but also in plants, however, implement the greater amount of squalene to cycloartenol.
