Montgomery County

Lansdale is a municipality ( Borough ) in Montgomery County in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania with about 20,000 inhabitants.

The place about 40 km north- west of Philadelphia was occupied by the family Jenkins since about 1805, from about 1850, the city grew in the course of railway construction. She received in 1872 in honor of Phillip Lansdale Fox of the North Pennsylvania Railroad under its current name.
