Lara Dickenmann

Youth

Even in times of children belonged to the football of her favorite pastimes. At the age of six, she discovered her passion for it. Visits in swimming training in ballet and gave it up. Soon a junior umpire picked it up in the team of her brother. At 14, Lara Dickmann was inducted into the Women's Team of FC Sursee, but continued to play with and against boys teams.

Professional career

Since 2002 she plays with the Swiss national football team. At Euro 2002 American scouts discovered their footballing talent. Several universities offered scholarships, of which Dickmann opted for the Ohio State University in Columbus. She studied political science and completed her studies.

On 20 May 2010 she played for Olympique Lyon against Turbine Potsdam in the Champions League final of women. She succumbed to her club in the penalty shootout.

On 26 May 2011 she again played for Olympique Lyon again against Turbine Potsdam in the Champions League final of women in London. This time she won with her club, scoring just before the end of the game, scoring the 2-0 win.

After she had in the season 2011/ 12 has already won in the semifinals of the Champions League with OL against Turbine Potsdam, she was (2-0) used at the final on 17 May 2012 at the Munich Olympic Stadium against the 1st FFC Frankfurt.
