Larry E. Wolgast

Larry Wolgast is an American politician.

Wolgast grew up in Wabaunsee County. He graduated from Kansas State University and the University of Kansas. At the latter he received a master and doctorate then.

In April 2013 he was elected mayor of Topeka, the capital of the U.S. state of Kansas. Prior to his election as mayor, he was a member of the City Council of Topeka ( Topeka City Council ) and held the position of Deputy Mayor under Mayor Bill Bunten.

Wolgast is married and has two sons.
