History
The Larry Gomes Stadium was built in 2001 for the U-17 World Cup. It is named after the cricketer Larry Gomes (actually Hilary Angelo Gomes ), the 1983 runner-up with the West Indies Cricket team. In 2010, the Larry Gomes Stadium venue of the U-17 World Cup women will be. The Larry Gomes Stadium is the home stadium of the football club Caledonia AIA.
