Larry Manetti
Larry Manetti ( born July 23, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actor who is best known for his role of Rick in the television series Magnum.
Life
Manetti grew up in Chicago, where he also studied acting. He is married to actress Nancy DeCarl and has a son named Lorenzo. He speaks Italian very well and was a foster son of Frank Sinatra.
Manetti's first television appearance was the role of a policeman in Jack Webb's series The Chase (1974). He then played the pilot Bobby Boyle in the series Pacific Squadron 214 In 1979, he starred in the short-lived series The Duke. The next year he took over the role of Orville "Rick" Wright, which earned him worldwide recognition in the new TV series Magnum.
Manetti is a half-brother of actor Robert Conrad, with whom he co-starred in the Pacific Squadron 214.
