Larunda

Larunda is a Roman deity.

After Marcus Terentius Varro it is Ursprungs.Titus Sabine Tatius is said to have consecrated it in Rome an altar. According to Tacitus, was located in the Roman Forum a sanctuary ( Sacellum ) the Larunda.

Probably because of the similarity of the name with Lara, it is one of the group of deities that they tried to identify with the Mater Larum.
