Las Piedras is a city in the north of Uruguay.

Geography

It is located in the northwestern part of the department of Artigas in its seventh sector east of Bella Unión. Northeast is adjacent to and south Cuareim Portones de Hierro y Campodónico.

Population

Las Piedras has 2771 inhabitants, of whom 1376 men and 1395 women (as of 2011).
