Latvia national handball team
The Latvian men's national handball team represents the Republic of Latvia in international matches and tournaments in men's handball.
Since the first part in a qualification in 1993, the selection could not qualify for a major tournament. Her best result was reaching the play-offs for the 2005 World Series against Spain and the European Championship in 2008 against the Czech Republic.
In 2001, the Latvian team won the EHF Challenge Trophy with a 31:22 - Final victory over neighbors Estonia.
